It would get clean. Bath soap wouldn't hurt a bathing suit. Sometimes bath soaps contain skin softeners and perfumes that you don't need in clothes detergent, and it might not rinse out as easily, but it would be alright for washing something. Shampoo would work too.What happens to a swimsuit when it is washed with a normal bath soap?
