Can you give your hamster a bath with no soap or anything ?

i used to have soooo many hamsters.

it was fun to bathe them sometimes

what i usually did was take my hamster, fill my sink with luke-warm water, close the drain, then put my hamster in.

i made sure to hold him and only let him swim for a few seconds.

sometimes i used soap.

after the bath, i wrapped him in a little hand tower and held him close to my body for warmth.

after he dried a bit, i took a baby-soft tooth brush and brushed him!

his coat was so shiny!

the bath didnt hurt him, he out lived my sister's hamster, who was never ever given baths. Can you give your hamster a bath with no soap or anything ?
NO you cant bath a hamster with no soap or anything you should go down to your local pet store and buy some special hamster shampoo and bath it inside in warm water and then dry it really good and leave it inside for a while so you can be sure it wont catch a cold ok. i hope this helpsCan you give your hamster a bath with no soap or anything ?
You don't need to bath a hamster unless there is some medical reason why you should. You can however give hamsters a dry bath. If you get a low level dish and buy some chinchilla dust, your hamster can have a dust bath in this. They really seem to enjoy rolling around in it. The dust will go everywhere so it will need topping up from time to time.
Hamsters don't need baths. But if you'd like to give him one, use lukewarm water and johnsons baby bath soap. Just keep it away from his eyes and ears, and keep him warm afterward.

Watch how your hamster fills up his cheekpouches with air like a little life preserver. It's so cute. Just don't let him swim for more than a few seconds at a time-he will tire out.
hamsters dont need baths if they get water in their ear they could die u could tho get a napik or paper towel make it wet then wipe them
Hamsters groom themselves, avoid bathing them, they do catch colds very easily.
Dont bath them sorry kid but it could kill them
Not a water bath. They catch colds easily. Even if you dry them.
